About the Artist

Paragon pet portraits are created by Yorkshire based artist Paul Smith.
 
Animals and wildlife are a major part of my life and this has always been evident in my art. My first pet portrait was of a family friend's Jack Russell completed at the age of 14 and through word of mouth I have been creating pet portraits by request ever since.
I now produce pet portraits professionally and am looking to extend this to wildlife art in the future.

Since completing a BA in Illustration at the University of Plymouth in Exeter, I have worked professionally as an illustrator and designer in a number of spheres, including both traditional and digital media.

I live near the historical city of York with my wife, 2 young children, 3 chickens
(see below!), 2 Guinea Pigs and as much wildlife as we can attract to the garden.
